Instant Alex is designed to help business owners grow, market and manage their businesses through personalised content, resources, tools, recommendations, community features and AI-powered experiences.

4. PERSONALISATION AND AI FEATURES

Instant Alex includes personalised and AI-powered features, including the ability to interact with AI-generated content and recommendations.

Depending on the features you use, information you provide to Instant Alex may be processed to:

  • Personalise your experience

  • Provide recommendations

  • Generate AI responses

  • Help you explore business, marketing and growth ideas

  • Improve the relevance of content shown to you

  • Understand how users interact with our Services

  • Improve and develop Instant Alex

Please do not provide highly sensitive personal information through Instant Alex unless specifically requested by a feature for a legitimate purpose.

AI-generated responses are generated using technology and may not always be accurate, complete or appropriate for your particular circumstances.

5. GOOGLE BUSINESS PROFILE INTEGRATION

Instant Alex allows a business owner to connect their own Google Business Profile to Instant Alex.

This integration is optional. You choose whether to connect your Google Business Profile and must authorise the connection through Google's authorisation process.

What happens when you connect Google Business Profile

When you connect your Google Business Profile, Instant Alex may access information associated with the Business Profile that is necessary to provide the integration.

This may include your existing Google reviews, which can be displayed within Instant Alex as “Love Notes” for your business.

Instant Alex does not use this integration to access Google Business Profiles that you do not own or are not authorised to manage.

Google authorisation

The connection uses Google's OAuth authorisation process. Google requires users to grant permission before an application can access protected Business Profile information.

To maintain an authorised connection where necessary, Instant Alex may securely store an OAuth refresh token associated with your authorised Google Business Profile connection.

We do not sell your Google Business Profile information.

We use information obtained through the Google Business Profile integration only to provide and maintain the features for which you authorised the connection, subject to Google's applicable policies.

Disconnecting Google

You may disconnect your Google Business Profile from Instant Alex at any time.

When you disconnect your account, Instant Alex will stop making new requests to your Google Business Profile through the connection, subject to any processing required to complete the disconnection or comply with legal obligations.

You may also revoke Instant Alex's access through your Google Account permissions.

Google's Business Profile API policies require third-party tools to provide users with a quick and easy way to stop use of the APIs and disassociate their Business Profile from the service.

Google data retention

Google Business Profile data is subject to Google's API policies, including restrictions concerning the storage of Business Profile API content.

Instant Alex will handle Google Business Profile data in accordance with applicable Google API requirements. Google currently states that Business Profile API content generally may only be stored temporarily for no more than 30 calendar days, subject to limited exceptions.

The exact treatment of Google review information within Instant Alex may depend on how the feature is technically implemented.

6. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Instant Alex does not currently offer in-app purchases.

Paid plans are purchased through the payment method and checkout process made available by Instant Alex on the applicable website or platform.

When you purchase a paid plan, payment information may be processed by our third-party payment provider.

We do not need to receive or store your full payment card number when payment is processed by our payment provider.

Our payment provider may collect and process information such as:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Billing information

  • Payment details

  • Transaction information

  • Subscription information

The processing of payment information is also subject to the applicable payment provider's privacy policy and terms.

Instant Alex is operated from the United Arab Emirates but may use service providers located in other countries.

As a result, your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the UAE.

Deleting your account may mean that you lose access to your Instant Alex account, content, saved information and paid features.

19. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Instant Alex is intended for adults and business owners.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where such collection is prohibited by applicable law.

Important note about Google Business Profile

Instant Alex uses Google Business Profile APIs to provide the Google Business Profile integration described above.

Google's current policies require transparency about how Business Profile data is used and require an easy way for users to stop the connection. They also impose specific restrictions on storing Business Profile API content.

Instant Alex does not sell Google Business Profile data.

Google Business Profile is a third-party service operated by Google. Instant Alex is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google.
